RJM Acquisitions attempting rip off on behalf of Fingerhut

RJM Acquisitions Funding complaint by KatN
I have now received two letters from RJM stating that they are a debt collector who has purchased a past due debt in my husband's name from Fingerhut. According to RJM we supposedly owe $327.08 for a past due debt from Fingerhut. First, we have not purchased anything from Fingerhut and second, Fingerhut has not sent us any billing statments. RJM began contacting us in January 2008 and I received the second letter today, May 1, 2008. However, there is no phone number you can call to talk to these people, they only list a fax number, and I have not been able to find them on the web except in reference to them being ripoffs trying to get paid on debts that either never happened or have expired as far as the statutes of limitations. I am not paying these people a dime because I know I do not owe Fingerhut any money.
